Jeanne’s cards are amazingly painted and stunning in their color palette. They present themselves as cards, but what you receive is a miniature work of art that the receiver has the benefit of opening. My mother not only loved her card but had it framed thereafter!

I have placed several orders with Jeanne and highly recommend her artwork. What prompted my visiting her shop was a gift I had received of herb cards (e.g. sage, oregano, etc…) which I framed and they are hanging in our kitchen. Her artwork is done with such grace and I find it emotes calm, joy, and inner peace. Thank you Jeanne, for sharing your extraordinary talent!

The Introduction to Watercolors was the best art class I have taken. She explained techniques well and gave good positive feedback. She gave me the ground work and encouragement that has allowed me to continue painting.

I have participated in a beginning Watercolor session and a beyond Watercolor 1 session with Jeanne and can say that I learned so much! She walked me through the basics while keeping the content completely engaging. I have art work that I am proud of and loved creating. I came away from both sessions with both new and improved skills, but most importantly, my confidence took a giant step forward!

I’ve taken two classes from Jeanne and I learned a lot in both of them. Jeanne provides needed support ahead of each class session such as sketches and photos. During class, she illustrates techniques with a camera focused on her painting process. She describes her thinking as she goes and both models and appreciates the unpredictability of watercolors. Students are encouraged to ask questions and the class sessions are recorded so you can re-watch at a later time. Jeanne has a good sense of humor and provides an environment that is relaxed yet challenging. I look forward to my next class with her!

I learned so much about watercolor painting from Jeanne –and had lots of fun in the process! We started with some instruction in the basics and then moved on to apply these skills to painting a variety of subjects. Jeanne clearly demonstrated the techniques as we progressed, always in a very relaxed way. I finished the class feeling both a sense of accomplishment and inspired to continue with watercolor.

Jean Anderson’s paintings and creations are my go-to gift. Her note cards, especially her flowers and herbs, are beautiful. I gave the note cards out at as gifts at a Mother’s Day brunch and my sister-in-law framed them in her kitchen because they are so pretty. Jean’s cards also make great birthday and hostess gifts and several people have commented that they loved receiving them instead of another bottle of wine. My daughters love the hand-painted bookmarks that I put in their Christmas stockings. My personal favorites, though, are the two large paintings that hang in my office at work. They are so beautiful. Thank you Jean for sharing your incredible talent.

Jeanne made a custom watercolor of our golden retriever and whenever I look at the painting I see my sweet dog. My son liked our watercolor so much that we had Jeanne paint another watercolor of his golden. We are very pleased with her work. For both projects Jeanne would send us progress photos to ensure she was on the right track. She is very easy to work with and the outcomes were spot on. They are unique gifts and we love how they turned out!
