Watercolor, Acrylics and Teaching, Oh My!

I just wrapped up a local 6 week class of Beginning Watercolor. We had a group of 21 students. There were true beginners and many who wanted to refresh their skills. All in all, it was a great group of people and we had a lovely time learning and painting together.

I will be teaching this class again in Winter term at Tacoma Community College as well as a Watercolor Part 2 class. Both classes will start late January/early February 2023. Registration for classes opens December 1.

There was a huge sale on canvases at Michaels last month, so I took advantage of the savings and purchased many, many canvases. Now I have the extreme privilege to experiment with acrylic pours! These are messy, unpredictable and crazy fun!!

Stay tuned for more pours to appear on my instagram

Till then, you’ll find me finishing up a special commission and getting ready for a neighborhood Holiday Open House!
